Charm production in the valon model

The valon model for hadron structure is extended to include charm quarks in the sea. The resultant charm distribution is then used in the recombination model to determine the inclusive distributions of charm particles produced in hadronic collisions at low p/sub T/. Predictions agree well with experiment.
