Charge depletion meter

Patent ·
OSTI ID:6235988
A charge depletion meter apparatus is described comprising in combination: a sensing means connecting to a battery source to sense the amount of charge flowing through, the sensing means provides a charge signal. A current to frequency converter means coupled to the sensing means receives the charge signal. The current to frequency converter means converts the charge signal to a digital signal. A divider means coupled to the current to frequency converter means to receives the digital signal. The divider means divides the digital signal by a predetermined number, the divider means provides an output pulse signal. A decimal counter means is coupled to the divider means to receive the output pulse signal. The decimal counter means accumulating the output pulse signal. Reset means couples respectively to the divider means and the decimal counter means for manually resetting both to zero. A display means is coupled to the decimal counter means to receive the output pulse signal. The display means displays the output pulse signal.
