Excess molar enthalpies at 25/sup 0/C were measured for 1-butanol-benzene-cyclohexane by use of an isothermal dilution calorimeter. The experimental results were well correlated with the UNIQUAC associated-solution model, which includes the dimerization constant and the constant for formation of higher polymers for the alcohol, and one solvation constant between the alcohol and benzene and binary interaction parameters.
