Multiple customer-class LBPS queueing discipline. [Last Batch/Processor Sharing]

Conference ·
OSTI ID:6219149
Generalizations of classical results in the theory of queueing networks have shown that the product form network solution is obtained for general service distributions at the queues, as long as the discipline at each queue is one of a few specific types. Recently, the Last Batch/Processor Sharing (LBPS) discipline has been introduced as a parameterized discipline that preserves the product form property, and includes the known product form-preserving disciplines as special cases.
