A comparative study of WIMS-Library group constants processed through NJOY 91 from ENDF/B-VI and JENDL-3 for {sup 16}O, {sup 56}Fe, {sup 58}Ni, {sup 27}Al, {sup 11}B, & {sup 9}Be

The WIMS-lib group constants have been generated from ENDF/B-VI and JENDL-3 through NJOY91.13{sup ++} for {sup 16}O, {sup 56}Fe, {sup 58}Ni, {sup 2}7Al, {sup 11}B and {sup 9}Be. The POWR output was processed by WIMLIC, to produce the WIMS-lib group constants. The parameters compared are Potential Scattering, Slowing Down Power/Lethargy widths, Transport Cross section, Absorption Cross section, Goldstein-Cohen {lambda} parameters and Group-to-Group scattering matrices. WIMS library generated from ENDF/B-VI and JENDL-3 has a good agreement in general but some significant points of disagreements also exist. These observations can be used as inputs for the WIMS-lib up-date project, and also for the ENDF/B-VI and JENDL-3 data verification tasks.
