Upgrading the intense neutron source high voltage power supply

The intense neutron source high voltage power supply displayed breakdown problems from the start of the project. This report analyzes the problems and provides solutions for upgrading the supply. Recent modifications have virtually eliminated power supply internal breakdowns. The report also specifies preacceptance tests for a supply to assure reliable operation under an arcing load.
