Experimental results from the solar ground coupling research facility at Brookhaven National Laboratory

The results of the first half year of operation of the solar ground coupling research facility at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) are presented. We analyze the data from the eight original experiments which are first generation ground coupled heat transfer and storage devices for a solar source heat pump system. A computer model of the heat transfer between these devices and the earth is discussed.
