This report is a compendium of the formal presentations made at the three working meetings. It includes a series of seven ''perspective papers'' prepared by academic consultants and relating to the conceptual aspects of the planning process. This series is followed by a discussion of potential project applications to Industry needs. Finally, there is a series of papers on the recent attempts of some utilities to develop fish hatchery/stocking programs as a mitigative solution to the perceived problem of mortalities at power plant cooling systems. Separate abstracts have been prepared for individual papers.
