How to relate basic equations to predict gas well performance

The pressure-volume equation for a volumetric gas reservoir can be combined with the back-pressure formula and the hyperbolic decline equation to yield equations useful in predicting gas well performance. The pressure-volume equation for volumetric-type gas reservoirs, neglecting rock and connate water compressibilities, is given. The back-pressure equation defines the gas production rate as a function of static and flowing reservoir pressures.
