This is the first quarterly update for 1979 in the Heat Pipe Technology Bibliographic Series. This quarter mainly contains publications on applications and theory. Because of an unusual large number of publicatios on applications, the second section of this Bibliography is divided into seven subsections instead of five. These include general applications and heat pipe uses for energy conversion, and conservation, solar and nuclear energy systems applications, aerospace utilization, and the cooling of electrical equipment.
