This paper provides similarity criteria for the design of an equivalent circuit in which the currents and voltages have the same dependence as in a real accelaerating inductor of a linear induction accelerator and their amplitudes are decreased by 2-3 orders of magnitude. Relations are given that make it possible to do design calculations for an equivalent inductor on the basis of the ratio of the voltages in the real inductor and the equivalent circuit. A description is given of a schematic for simulating the processes of forming pulses of accelerating voltage in the inductor. The paper presents oscillograms of the inductor current and voltage, along with similar oscillograms obtained on the equivalent circuit.
