Title: Coolant flow stoppage incident, PRTR, November 9, 1961

On November 9, 1961, during flow flow shutdown conditions, a helium vapor lock occurred in the operating primary coolant pump which resulted in a stoppage of primary coolant flow to the reactor. The reactor had been shut down for nine days at the time of the incident and no damage to the fuel elements resulted.
