Evaluation of polyphenylsulfone
Polyphenylsulfone, an engineering thermoplastic, was evaluated for potential applications where its superior properties would be of benefit. The evaluation included analysis and characteriztion, physical testing, parametric responses, and moldability. Analytical tools used included thermomechanical analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, and standard ASTM physical tests. Statistical studies were used to determine dimensional responses to conditional changes in molding.
