Title: Numerical integration of the equations governing a normal mode linear piezoelectric transducer with an inductive-resistive load. [WONDY code]

Abstract

A description is given of the use of the WONDY one-dimensional Lagrangian wavecode to solve for electromechanically coupled responses of normal mode linear piezoelectric transducers. The construction of an appropriate equation-of-state subroutine for a linear piezoelectric material and an inductive-resistive external electrical load is given. The use of the subroutine is illustrated by the solution of an example problem.
