Single-stage biochemical purification of phenolic effluents with active sludge

This article gives a thorough analysis of two types of purification (microbial and biochemical). The results of an investigation of the operation of the effluent-purification facility at the Kriroi Rog C and CW are given. It has been shown that single-stage purification is best for the phenolic effluents from carbonization plants.
