The water resources of the St. Joseph River Basin which covers approximately 4685 sq mi in southern Michigan and northern Indiana are evaluated. Data are presented on existing and potential water resource development, on water uses, e.g., for irrigation, municipal water supplies, or in thermal power plant cooling systems, and on the status of hydro plant licensing. Past and current planning studies are summarized. The information presented is current as of September 1981. (LCL)
