The purpose of the Data Base appendix is to present a detailed description of the nature and extent of the data base used to develop the Pickwick Reservoir Plan. The data base contains both mapped and textual information that defines the reservoir setting, operational characteristics, and use demands; land use and environmental conditions, physical characteristics; and capability of the land and water for various uses. The appendix is divided into three sections. Section A provides an overview of how the data base was developed and used, Section B describes the types and detailed categories of mapped data used in the project; Section C contains descriptive information concerning population, employment, income, trade, and service characteristics of the counties adjacent to Pickwick Reservoir.
