The different types of solar collector are described and compared and the many different storage methods which can be adopted are analyzed. A separate chapter is devoted to solar buildings already in use in both Europe and the USA. The construction of these installations is fully described and technical performance data relating to them are given. This book is a translation of the well-known Haus und Sonnenkraft. (MHR)
