Part four of the series presents summaries of the progress 17 states have made in implementing rate-setting for cogenerators under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act. The information for the states (listed alphabetically from North Dakota through Wyoming) includes the state regulatory agency, the status of rules or guidelines, rates for major power companies, and the state contact. Most states have rules in effect, although some are rewriting their rules or have buy-back rate cases pending.
