Rearrangement of oxime allyl ethers under electronic impact

Journal Article · · J. Org. Chem. USSR (Engl. Transl.); (United States)

A 3,3-sigmatropic rearrangement followed by the elimination of the NO particle is observed in the molecular ions of aldoxime allyl ethers. In the ethers of ketoximes 2,3-migration of the allyl group predominates and leads to the formation of (M - OH)/sup +/ ions characteristic of aliphatic N-oxides.
