Spin dependence in. Lambda. hypernuclei

Features of {Lambda}-hypernuclear spectra relating to the spin dependence of the underlying {Lambda}{ital N} interaction are reviewed, and attention is focused on the spin-spin and spin-orbit interactions. It is argued that the spin dependence of dispersive {Lambda}{ital NN} interaction terms could provide an important ingredient for understanding the very small spin dependence extracted from the hypernuclear spectra.
