Processes at high momentum transfers in a dynamical quark-bag model

A model is proposed for the interaction of hadrons at high momentum transfers, in the framework of which the momentum-transfer dependences of the electromagnetic form factors of hadrons and the cross sections of exclusive and inclusive processes are studied. To within logarithmic corrections, simple analytic expressions are obtained for the electromagnetic form factors of hadrons and the differential cross sections of exclusive processes at large q/sup 2/. These give a good description of the available experimental data and are consistent with the quark-count rules in a wide range of q/sup 2/. The derived dependence of the cross sections of inclusive processes on the transverse momentum p/sub perpendicular/ of the specified particle are in excellent agreement with the available data.
