Journal Article · · Geo-Heat Cent. Q. Bull.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6121746
The system design and economics of the Wine Valley Inn are outlined. The proposed mineral water spa and resort will utilize 200/sup 0/F water for space heating and cooling. The 55 guest rooms, conference rooms, lobby, spas, and swimming pool will be served by geothermal water through a plate heat exchanger. The geothermal fluids are injected into the ground after flowing through the heat exchangers. At energy savings of about $33,000 per year at 1982 prices, the payback period will be less than eight years. (MJF)
