The linear characteristic method in XYZ geometry

The linear characteristic method (LC) has been previously investigated in XY geometry. In this paper, the implementation of the LC method in the three-dimensional discrete ordinates code TORT is described, and a comparison is made between LC and the other methods used in TORT, namely weighted difference and linear nodal (LN).
