The gamma-ray bursts of May 1, 17, 25, and July 11 and 20, 1992 were rapidly localized to regions with dimensions of several arcminutes by the spacecraft of the third interplanetary network. Radio, optical, and soft X-ray follow-up observations were carried out, and a soft X-ray source was detected in one error box. Although the Pioneer Venus Orbiter spacecraft is no longer operating, its place in the network will be taken by Mars Observer, and locations will continue to be produced rapidly.
