The eighth brine migration data report describes experiments simulating a nuclear waste repository at the 800-m (2624-ft) level. This report desribes the test equipment, the Asse Salt Mine, and the pretest properties of the salt in the test gallery, and includes test data for 25 months of operations on brine migration rates, borehole pressure, salt temperatures, and thermomechanical behavior of the salt. 2 refs., 119 figs., 92 tabs.
