The National Air Toxics Information Clearinghouse has been established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards for the purpose of facilitating information transfer among Federal, State, and local air quality management agencies. The document has been published as part of that effort. The purpose is to provide State and local agencies and other Clearinghouse users with bibliographic citations of reports and Federal Register notices useful in developing and operating air toxics control programs. The bibliography is published in five volumes plus an index. Volume 5 has the more recent citations from January 1990 to January 1991. The volume consists of two sections. Section 1 includes introductory material describing the bibliography scope and organization and contains information necessary for the proper use of the document. This part updates the corresponding part in Volume 1, 2, 3, and 4. Volume 5, Section 2 contains the report and Federal Register notice entries with bibliographic information and, in most cases, an abstract. The current index to the bibliography (Index - 1991, EPA-450/3-91-017) covers all the reports from 1974 to the present.
