Development of high efficiency solar cells: management plan
An organized research program is proposed which joins the Rockwell International Science Center with photovoltaic scientists in university laboratories to attack the problems of polycrystal solar cells. The management structure of the program is described and the biographies of the program manager and principal investigators are given. The research and development plan proposed is summarized. Four specific tasks are outlined: growth of polycrystal materials, grain boundary investigations, polycrystal solar cell development, and deliverable items. The division of work between the collaborating institutions is given. The detailed program schedule for each of the tasks and subtasks and major milestones are given. (LEW)
