Hartree-Fock calculations with extended Skyrme forces for /sup 16/O and /sup 40/Ca

The Hartree-Fock equation with extended Skyrme force is derived. Calculations of single-particle energies have been made for /sup 16/O and /sup 40/Ca using twelve sets of Skyrme parameters. The results show that the single-particle energies calculated with parameters SII, SKa, SKb, SGI, GS1, GS2, GS3 are in good agreement with experimental values. The nucleon densities, the kinetic energy densities, and the spin-orbit densities calculated with parameters GS2 are presented.
