Investigation of the oxidation of ammonia on massive metals by an emission spectroscopy method

The emission spectroscopy method has been used to study oxidation of ammonia on massive metals. It has been shown that during the course of the reaction the surface is modified by metal amines. The spectral manifestations of the reaction correlate with the activation energy value. The lower this value is the closer the structures of the observed surface complexes approach to the structure of the final products.
