Committee reports of the international workshop on Printing Flaw Standards for Machine Inspection

The main purpose of the workshop was to establish international flaw standards that can facilitate specification of functional requirements for machine inspection equipment. Participants were representatives from the international communities of security printing and industrial machine inspection with extensive experience in their respective fields. Reports are given by the committees on: printing flaw nomenclature and quantization, flaw-severity perception and polling, flaw detection requirements for intaglio and offset intaglio currency, flaw detection requirements for postage stamps, machine inspection capabilities and limitations, and machine inspection specification recommendations.
