Q-colors logic tree analysis program: a guide for users and programmers

A qualitative method for analyzing fault trees that uses color graphics for displaying the results is described and illustrated. This method, called Q-Colors for qualitative colors, can be used to color label fault trees so that qualitative results can be easily conveyed. An interactive program implemented on a Hewlett-Packard 9845B computer which allows the analyst to create, modify, analyze, store, and plot these trees is also described.
