Dibaryon search in the pi-d system

Measurements of the polarization parameter, it11 in elastic pi-d scattering at a few specific angles with 140 and 256 MeV pion energy have been cited as evidence for the 1G4 dibaryon resonance. Two new experiments have been performed within the last year to expand this data set and clarify the situation. The first new experiment added data at 220, 275, and 294 MeV and confirmed three forward angle points at 256 MeV. The second new experiment employed a completely different data collection scheme with a multiple arm time-of-flight spectrometer. 6 references, 2 figures.
