Restoration of single-frequency emission by suppression of pulsations of the intensity of the radiation emitted by an injection laser

Pulsations of the radiation intensity were suppressed in an injection laser with a transverse p-n junction by establishing a feedback via a section of a fiber waveguide brought into contact with the laser. This resulted in emission of just one longitudinal mode from the laser diode.
