This patent describes an intake system for an internal combustion engine, the improvement comprising a pair of spaced air inlets for each of the plenum chambers, a common atmospheric air inlet for all of the plenum chamber air inlets and a single throttle valve in the common air inlet for providing the sole control for the flow through all of the plenum chamber air inlets.
