Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/6049164· OSTI ID:6049164
A thorough engineering analysis was made of the energy consumption in the Samuel Everitt Elementary School in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and opportunities for conserving energy in the operation of the building were identified. The Samuel Everitt School is representative of a 1950's building with two additions located in a 3,000 to 6,000 degree-day climate. The cost of the recommended conservation measures was estimated at $21,200 with a payback period of 7 years. (LCL)
