Self-dual non-Abelian Chern-Simons solitons

We consider a self-dual SU({ital N}) non-Abelian Chern-Simons theory with a scalar field in the fundamental representation. We study nontopological solitons in symmetric and asymmetric phases and show that they are at the threshold of stability against emission of elementary particles.
