QCD tests of: G(1. 6)=glueball

We present the evidence within QCD (spectral sum rules, low energy theorems and current algebra for the pseudoscalar nonet) that the G(1.6) meson seen at GAMS is a relatively pure gluonion states. The suppression of the G(1.6) coupling to Goldstone boson pairs being consistent with the existence of a low mass sigma(0.9) state which saturates the

vertex (P/equivalent to/..pi..,K). We present a crude estimate of the G, f/sub 0/ (1.3) and sigma two photon widths and of their production in /psi/ and UPSILON radiative decays.
