Immiscible polymer blends have been compatibilized by block or graft copolymers as physical compatibilizers or by in-situ reactive compatibilizers as chemical compatibilizers. Recently, an in-situ reactive compatibilizer is preferred to a block or a graft copolymer. An immiscible polymer blend with an in-situ reactive compatibilizer exhibits very fine morphology since the block or graft copolymers formed in-situ at the interface reduce the interfacial tension between the phases.
