This patent describes a motor fuel composition which inhibits engine ORI and resists engine deposit formation. It comprises; a mixture of hydrocarbons boiling in the range of 90{degrees}F - 450{degrees}F and the reaction product of a dibasic acid anhydride, a polyoxyalkylene polyol, and a nitrogen-containing compound selected from the group consisting of: a C{sub 2} - C{sub 8} polyalkylene polyamine, a polyoxyalkylene diamine, and a heterocyclic azole.
