Partial wave analyses of scattering below 2 GeV. Progress report, May 1, 1980-April 30, 1981

Activities are reported with respect to the Scattering Analyses Interactive Dial-in (SAID) Facility, which provides scattering analyses solutions for nucleon-nucleon scattering, pion-nucleon scattering, and kaon plus-nucleon scattering. With respect to nucleon-nucleon elastic scattering partial wave analysis, progress is reported in the areas of data base management, analysis, modeling, and calculation of reaction cross sections. Pion-nucleon elastic scattering was also analyzed from 0 to 350 MeV. Work on kaon plus-nucleon scattering analyses is reported. Some work is also reported on pion-nucleon inelastic analysis, particularly in the determination of the ..pi..-delta-delta coupling constant. (LEW)
