Federal energy information gathering activities
This report on Federal energy data gathering activities is provided to fulfill the requirements contained in Section 56(c) of the Federal Energy Administration Act of 1974, as amended by the Energy Conservation and Production Act. The report presents the FEA activities concerning energy information, both past and planned, since enactment of the ECPA; describes the present system of Federal energy data gathering activities; and provides recommendations with respect to the coordination of energy information activities within the Federal government.
