Improvement of the reliability of wide-gap spark chambers operating in the storage regime

The authors discuss the application of two pulsed-voltage generators (PVG) to provide a power supply for wide-gap spark chambers. The use of a pulsed power supply of a second recording PVG improves the operating reliability of the chambers. Experimental distribution is given of the amplitudes of the output pulses, as well as the delays in the triggering of the recording PVG.
