Using the Pade unitarized one-loop {ital W}{sup +}{ital W{minus}} and {ital Z}{sup 0}{ital Z0} scattering amplitudes, we investigate the production of gauge boson pairs at high-energy {ital pp} colliders. We focus on the case where the Higgs boson mass parameter {ital m}{sub {ital H}} is large ({ital m}{sub {ital H}}{approx gt}10 TeV), in which case the Higgs sector is strongly interacting and the Pade {ital s}-wave amplitude develops a resonance at a relatively low mass {mu}{similar to}1 TeV. This resonance is narrower than an elementary Higgs boson of the same mass. We show that the difference in the widths is discernible in the gauge boson invariant mass plots.
