Promotion of hydrogen oxidation using the chain combustion of a silane

The promotion of a model branced chain process, and specifically the combustion of a detonating mixture using the reaction of silane oxidation was studied in this report, where the oxidation of a silane was used to induce the combustion of hydrogen. The mechanism of the induction was explained.
