The electric resistance R of a set of BaPb/sub 1-x/Bi/sub x/O/sub 3/ solutions of varying compositions is measured as a function of the temperature T. A negative temperature resistance coefficient is observed for superconducting samples with x = 0.25 and T/sub c/roughly-equal10 K; this is an indication of the dielectrization of the electron spectrum. The experimentally observed absence of a heat-capacity jump at T = T/sub c/ is explained on the basis of the theory of superconductors with a dielectric gap on a part of the Fermi surface.
