Venera 11 and 12 observations of gamma-ray bursts : the Cone experiment

During the first 50 days of observation with the Venera 11 and Venera 12 space probes in September--November 1978, 21 cosmic ..gamma..-ray bursts were recorded. Their time structure and energy spectra have been determined. The integrated frequency distribution N (>S) of the burst events differs markedly from an S/sup -3/2/ law.
