A simple method is proposed for calculation of the probabilities of quantum processes with formation of nonrelativistic charged particles in the field of an intense electromagnetic wave. On the basis of the method developed, a detailed discussion of ..beta.. decay of nuclei in the field of a wave is given for the case of small energy release Epsilon/sub 0/<
