Deep Inelastic Scattering and QCD: 5th International Workshop. Proceedings
- Argonne National Laboratory, 9700 S. Cass Avenue, Argonne, Il 60439 (United States)
These proceedings represent papers presented at the 5th International Workshop on Deep Inelastic Scattering and QCD in Chicago, USA, in April 1997. The Workshop was hosted and sponsored by the United States Department of Energy`s Argonne National laboratory, Division of High Energy Physics. The Workshop covered high/low{minus}x structure functions, parton densities, proton spin, inclusive and exclusive hadronic final states and diffractive scattering at hard scales. The latest results from HERA, the Tevatron, and fixed target experiments are also reported. Over 220 physicists from Europe, Asia and America attended the Workshop. There were 159 individual presentations, out of these, 34 have been abstracted for the Energy Science and Technology database.(AIP)
