These proceedings describe biomass conversion projects sponsored by the Biomass Thermochemical Program within the Biofuels and Municipal Waste Technology Division of the Office of Renewable Energy Technologies. The ''Biomass Thermochemical Conversion Contractors' Meeting: 1985'' was held in conjunction with ''Using Fiber Fuels in Industry,'' organized by the Fiber Fuels Institute. This three-day combined meeting focused on both biomass thermal conversion research and practical experiences of industry in using biomass fuels.
